How long does my membership last?

Assuming you continue to get value and be an active participant, you are welcome to continue your membership of Leveraged for as long as you like.

In terms of where it starts, everyone who joins Leveraged or Leveraged Online is asked to make an initial 12-month commitment to the program, after which continued membership is on a month-to-month basis.

There's two reasons for this, and both about the way are about the interplay between time and commitment.

Firstly, time. I want people to join the program and work through the content at the right pace, not try and consume it all in one go with the goal of getting it done in as little time as possible. That simply doesn’t work. We have plenty of examples of those who tried to "drink from the fire hydrant" and found out how counterproductive it really is.

On the flipside, when courses are offered within open-ended date, such as on Udemy, the likelihood of people not undertaking the action increases. It's all to do with something called Parkinsons Law; basically when there is no due/ expiry date, often there's no urgency either.

The second reason is about commitment. I've found out through years of experience that coaching works best when people make a commitment, though in truth Adam Smith made the same observartion hundreds of years earlier in his seminar economics paper, The Weath of Nations.

I want you to undertake this as a project to transform your business, and something you invest time in and prioritise because you are driven to get a retun on your investment.

Finally - I know I said there were two, but this is more of a "me" reason - the program is something I've invested time and effort in, and the peer group is something I'm hugely grateful to have been able to create. I respect those who are members of the program too much to allow others not to meet the same standards as they have.

Essentially, the reason there's an upfront commitment is because it's a coaching course, I want you to get results (not just collect information) and it's in the best interests of the peer group to have cohesion and tenure.

If you’re not sure about making a commitment, then that’s why we also offer Fast Track to those who prefer a shorter, more focused engagement.
